The Mexican 2 peso gold coin was first minted in 1917 until 1947 and then it was minted again in 1945. To date the easiest mint year to find is 1945. The coin is highly popular with collectors and investors alike.
The obverse of the Mexican two peso gold coin shows the year it was minted with a display that says "DOS PESOS" and a brach on the bottom. The reverse depicts an eagle eating a snake on top of a cactus which represents Mexico's coat of arms. The words "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" are shown across the coin.
